SoftSlide: lots of news ….
Lots of news. The 31 of July 2019, SoftSlide partners had a new meeting in Petach-Tikva, Israel. The meeting was an opportunity to share the current state of the SoftSlide project, evaluate the work accomplished during the first 27 months, and plan the next phases. All partners enjoyed the facilities of SKM Aeronautics. Maintenance, quality controls, pilot production and mass production were extensively explained. As planned, industrial production was ready for the market. Technical results confirmed the control of the friction (reduction/increase) in textured dynamic seals produced under industrial conditions.
Such a great results during all project and working as a team encourage all partners to disseminate and communicate to different audiences the benefits of the SoftSlide technology. SoftSlide was present in EPPM (European Plastic Processors Magazine), in Moulding Expo (Stuttgart) and much more will come.

All SoftSlide team attended to the International Rubber Conference in London (#irc2019) 3-5 September 2019. Great presentation from Matthias Wangenheim (LUH) talking about the benefits of the SoftSlide technology to the community of the rubber industry. SoftSlide was spreading this technology with the Booth Nº 38, where stakeholders could touch and understand the Friction Management Solution. Aerospace, automotive, wind turbines, oil &gas or medicine were some of the markets interested in save energy, improve performance and increase durability.
